Magnesium castings are created using the traditional sand casting process, offering an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. However, due to the volatile and reactive nature of magnesium, this type of casting is highly specialised. Many manufacturers are reluctant to work with magnesium, making experienced handling essential for safe and successful production.
We have the knowledge and technical expertise to safely work with this incredibly light yet strong metal, enabling us to support both one-off and low-volume production requirements.
